Hello! I am a Research Scientist in the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an ecologist with the North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center. I am interested in how disturbances like fire shape ecosystems in the past and today. My research spans timescales of years to millennia, and seeks to understand how terrestrial ecosystems respond to changing climate conditions and disturbance regimes, and how we can steward ecosystems at risk of transformation. I am passionate about actionable science to support climate adaptation in natural resource management.
