Hello! I am a Research Scientist in the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an ecologist with the North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center. I am interested in how disturbances like fire shape ecosystems in the past and today. My research spans timescales of years to millennia, and seeks to understand how terrestrial ecosystems respond to changing climate conditions and disturbances, and how we can steward ecosystems in a rapidly changing environment. I am passionate about actionable science to support climate adaptation for natural resource management.
